The Cure Skincare
...grew out of a love for natural skin care, and The Cure was born.
The Cure is a natural skin care brand with a focus on sustainable ingredients. Every ingredient that goes into The Cure products is selected for its effective properties. There are no fillers, perfumes, emulsifiers, parabens used in The Cure products. Having an understanding that skin care does not need to be fussy, but it does need to be functional. Filling in the gaps with brands that we admire is very important to what The Cure stands for.
We love plant based ingredients and even the wax we use is plant based.
Here are a few ingredient highlights found in The Cure products:
Perilla Seed Oil- High in Omega-3 fatty acids, it’s wonderful for sensitive and problematic skin. Anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory, it helps to reduce blemishes, redness, and even out your skin tone.
Irish Sea Moss- Plant-based “collagen” that helps reduce fine lines and softens wrinkles. It has 92 of the 102 minerals your body needs, as well as vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and K.
Tamanu Seed Oil- Rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, both of which keep your skin moisturized.
Pumpkin Seed Oil- Anti-aging, moisturizing, and soothing. Treats acne, increases firmness, and balances oily skin
French Rose Clay- helps to replenish and restore skin with moisture, and draw out impurities.
Radish Root Ferment - This preservative is based on an antimicrobial peptide originally derived from a lactic acid bacteria. This is capable of restricting the growth of other microorganisms by acidifying its environment. Water-soluble, anti-fungal, and antimicrobial.
Carnauba Wax - native to Brazil, this wax works like beeswax but is plant-based. It is easily absorbed, odourless, rich in nutrients, and hypoallergenic.
Red Raspberry seed oil, deeply moisturizing and helps soften our skin while reducing skin irritation like itching, swelling, and redness. It's wonderful for eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis.
Hibiscus oil, helping to purify our skin by breaking down dead skin and increasing cell turnover; it can even help control acne breakouts.
We are excited for you to try The Cure.
